In 2017, the Substitoots embarked on their first and only tour. Four dates in the North East. New Brunswick, NJ, Brooklyn, NY, Philadelphia, PA and Washington DC.

The night before the first show the band decided to book time in a rehearsal studio in Jersey City to run the set. Upon arriving, we noticed a single sticker on the filing cabinet in the lobby of the studio. It was a Substitoots sticker.

The owner of the studio was so tickled by the serendipitous moment that he offered to record us. We obliged and decided to track the three songs on this release. Three songs that were recorded in one session, never fully mixed or mastered.

Seven years later, they're available to the world. Three tracks stitched together with sound bytes from home videos uploaded to youtube from around 2008. All of which were shot / edited / uploaded by Andrea Rodriguez.

The Substitoots started in 2004 and here we are twenty years later. Enjoy!
